Bloodhound Puppies’ First Week in Congo.

The bloodhound puppies who will be trained in anti-poaching arrived in Congo on March 1st. They were accompanied by one of the top world trainers of bloodhounds and vet, Dr. Marlene Zahner, and Robert Williams. Marlene will be training the dogs in multiple visits to Congo and spent the first week working with the rangers chosen to be handlers of the dogs. The new handlers for the puppies, chosen from rangers at Rumangabo, will be Christian, Kasereka, Alex, and Aime.
