Sai Baba Vision
 Stuart Wilde - January 2005

The Indian mystic guru, Sai Baba, is considered a living god by his devotees. He is famous for two things. (1) He’s the last man on earth with and an afro’ hair-do, thirty years after it went out of fashion. (2) He materializes a sacred, red dust called vhibuti, out of thin air. He also manifests cheap watches, costume jewelry and trinkets, all said to be the gifts of the gods. Since the advent of digital video film and frame-by-frame editing these divine manifestations are now known to be slight-of-hand. The work of a good conjurer.

He has pulled in tens of millions of dollars from the faithful based on the miracle of the vhibuti trick but in all fairness, he has used the money to build hospitals and schools and he has done marvelous things in the local community. So he’s not all bad. However, the Internet is awash with former followers who accuse him of sexual assault. They allege he suffers from the Catholic disease, homosexual pedophilia. I don’t know if these complaints are true or not. Maybe it’s just disgruntled devotees that didn’t get the plop of dust they were expecting.

Anyway, I mention all this hair-do, vhibuti malarkey, because the Forces of Light just showed up in Bubbaville, asking to speak to the boss. Sometimes, the Forces show up as angels that are around a human being. That is helpful. But other times, the Forces of Light are militant and there is one hell of a fight with the ghouls (See: Jabba-the-Hutt’s Last Stand). Then on very rare occasions many hundreds of horsemen come out of a forest in the mirror-world and they hurtle toward the place that is being set upon. The Forces of Light are all kindness and goodness, but as I have said before, there is a military wing to the forces of retribution that take on the ghouls that protect the scammers and tyrants of this world. It was the horsemen that I saw two days ago in the mirror-world, returning from Sai Baba that has prompted this piece. Something serious is about to happen. We have only seen the horsemen three times in four years.

My prediction is that Sai Baba's protection will falter. He will be enveloped in a major scandal, arrested and carted off. Then he will probably face trial and we’ll discover if he’s Sai Baba the living god, or Sly Baba the pedophile conman, operating under the protection of the local authorities for these many decades. My guess is that in the end, he will be found to be ‘exactly’ like the rest of us, eternally good in some ways and utterly rotten in other ways.
